Zachary Schwartz came out on top in the last event of the 2025 PokerGO Tour Pot-Limit Omaha Series. The Old Greenwich, Connecticut resident bested a field of 73 entries in the $5,000 PLO bounty event to earn $63,510 and his first PGT title.
This was the fourth-largest recorded score of Schwartz, who now has nearly $1.4 million in cashes to his name across 171 in-the-money finishes. His biggest payday came when he finished third in the 2024 World Series of Poker $5,000 PLO event for $283,221.
The final heads-up battle for the title came down to Schwartz and three-time bracelet winner Alex Foxen. Had the latter secured the win, he would have been crowned the series champion. Instead, he fell just 29 points short, with Jesse Lonis ultimately locking up that honor.
Foxen was far from the only accomplished player Schwartz had to deal with down the stretch in this event. Bracelet winner Ronald Keijzer (6th), event no. 5 winner from this series Christopher Costa (5th), two-time bracelet winner John Riordan (4th), and bracelet winner Tyler Brown (3rd) all ran deep.
