The Las Vegas Raiders<\/a> suffered a 34-20 defeat to the Los Angeles Chargers<\/a> in Week 18, as Antonio Pierce’s squad finished the 2024 season with a 4-13 record and have an uncertain offseason ahead.\u00a0<\/p>\n Las Vegas’ draft position was officially finalized on Sunday. With their loss to the Chargers and the New York Jets’<\/a> victory over the Miami Dolphins<\/a>, the Raiders secured the No.6 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The franchise will be picking in the top ten for the second time in three years.<\/p>\n The draft is still months away, but with Las Vegas’ position in April’s draft being set in stone, here is a three-round Raiders mock draft ahead of a pivotal offseason.<\/p>\n McMillan is the most explosive and dynamic wide receiver in this year’s draft class, as the 21-year-old averaged 15.7 yards per catch in 2024 and also hauled in 84 receptions for 1,319 yards and eight touchdowns.<\/p>\n Jakobi Meyers had a solid season despite the atrocious quarterback situation, as the veteran posted 87 catches for 1,027 yards and four touchdowns this year. Pairing Meyers with McMillan would give Las Vegas a versatile wide receiver duo and a nice set of offensive playmakers for the quarterback we’re about to take next.<\/p>\n Milroe is an eye-opening athlete who is arguably the best dual-threat signal caller in the draft. The Alabama quarterback totaled 36 touchdowns in 2024, including 20 rushing touchdowns and 16 passing touchdowns, and also tossed 11 interceptions.<\/p>\n The 22-year-old is an incredibly raw prospect who needs some development, but Milroe has the potential to be a franchise quarterback at the next level. The Raiders should take a flyer on the Texas native in the second round if they can’t land a quarterback in Round 1.<\/p>\n Skattebo had a monster season for Arizona State in 2024, tallying 2,316 scrimmage yards and 24 total touchdowns. The 22-year-old’s performance versus Texas in the Peach Bowl put him on a national stage, as Skattebo showed off his versatility in the run and pass game and kept the Sun Devils competitive against one of the best teams in the SEC.<\/p>\n The Raiders running back room lacks high-end talent and excitement. Zamir White didn’t have the breakout year many expected, Alexander Mattison isn’t a starting-level player, and rookie Dylan Laube also underwhelmed in his rookie campaign. Selecting Skattebo in the third round as the running back of the future would be a savvy move from Las Vegas.<\/p>\n The Raiders will need to address the cornerback position this offseason, as Jack Jones clearly isn’t a CB1, and Jakorian Bennett is the team’s only reliable player in the position group.\u00a0<\/p>\n LSU’s Zy Alexander allowed just a 43.5% completion rate<\/a> and a 54.5 passer rating when targeted<\/a> in 2024 and also snagged two interceptions.
