(FOX5) &#8211; Las Vegas police said a 64-year-old man died two days after a southeast valley crash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police said the crash happened Wednesday at 3:19 p.m. on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox5vegas.com\/2025\/01\/09\/two-drivers-seriously-injured-head-on-crash-southeast-las-vegas\/\" rel=\"\" title=\"https:\/\/www.fox5vegas.com\/2025\/01\/09\/two-drivers-seriously-injured-head-on-crash-southeast-las-vegas\/\">Nellis Boulevard, north of Vista Flora Way<\/a>. Police said that a 53-year-old man drove a 2014 Ram 1500 and a 64-year-old drove a 2006 Toyota Sienna.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The driver of the Ram traveled north of Nellis when he crossed over a concrete median into southbound lanes. The crash happened when the front-left of the Ram hit the front of the Toyota.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police said both vehicles had major damage. The driver of the Ram was transported to Sunrise Hospital for \u201csubstantial\u201d injuries. The Toyota\u2019s driver had to be mechanically extracted with life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police provided an update Friday saying the Toyota\u2019s driver died at Sunrise.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cThe driver\u2019s death marks the 3rd traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department\u2019s jurisdiction for the year 2025,\u201d police said. \u201cThis collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department\u2019s Collision Investigation Section.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\"><i>Copyright 2025 KVVU.
