Brian Sandoval is joining the board of directors at Resorts World Las Vegas, the company announced this morning.<\/p>\n<p>Sandoval, who is president of UNR, joins Chairman Jim Murren, the former CEO of MGM Resorts International; A.G. Burnett, the gaming attorney who was formerly chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board; Michelle DiTondo, a human resources veteran on the Strip; and Kong Han Tan, the president, COO and executive director of Genting Berhad, on the recently formed board.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis leadership, vision, and extensive experience in both government and the gaming industry make him an extraordinary addition to our team,\u201d Resorts World CEO Alex Dixon said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Sandoval, a Republican, served two terms through 2019 as Nevada\u2019s governor.
