NFL Hall of Famer Brett Favre has questioned the deadly attacks in New Orleans<\/a> and Las Vegas<\/a> amid his own confusion over the incidents.\u00a0<\/p>\n New Year’s Eve revelry quickly turned into terror in the early hours of Wednesday when\u00a0a US Army veteran drove a truck into the crowds celebrating on New Orleans’ infamous Bourbon Street<\/a>, leaving 14 dead and\u00a0at least 35 injured.<\/p>\n Hours later, Matthew Livelsberger blew up a Tesla<\/a> Cybertruck outside\u00a0the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, injuring seven victims in the attack.\u00a0<\/a>Livelsberger, 37,\u00a0shot himself in the head<\/a> as the makeshift explosives he planted blew up around him, leaving his body\u00a0charred beyond recognition.\u00a0<\/p>\n In the wake of the devastating attacks, Favre, a former Super Bowl-winning quarterback, expressed skepticism with his followers on X, formerly known as Twitter<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n ‘What’s going on with the New Orleans and Trump Hotel story? My brain can’t take anymore after the way this week has gone,’ one baffled social media user pleaded.\u00a0<\/p>\n ‘Officials are saying the two attacks are unrelated, but the two guys were former soldiers who served at Fort Bragg together in the past,’ another claimed.\u00a0<\/p>\n Shamsud-Din Jabbar, 42, a US citizen born and raised in Texas<\/a> carried out the deadly attack in New Orleans.\u00a0<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Livelsberger was identified by law enforcement sources as the bomber in the Wednesday attack in Las Vegas.\u00a0<\/p>\n He served over 19 years in the Army – 18 of which were spent with the Special Forces, according to his LinkedIn profile. His current role was listed as a Remote and Autonomous Systems Manager, which he had been in for just three months.<\/p>\n Law enforcement sources revealed that Livelsberger had previously served at the same military bas<\/a>e as New Orleans terrorist Jabbar.\u00a0Police have not confirmed if the pair were known to each other.<\/p>\n Both Army vet Jabbar and Green Beret Livelsberger received training at Fort Liberty, the nation’s largest base formerly known as Fort Bragg, in North Carolina.\u00a0<\/p>\n An explosive blast killed one person and injured half a dozen more when it went off outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas on Wednesday<\/p>\n<\/div>\n 14 people died after a driver rammed into the large group at high speed in New Orleans<\/p>\n<\/div>\n An official told the Associated Press that there is no overlap in their assignments at the base, which has a a population of roughly 47,000 active-duty soldiers and is home to multiple Army special operations units.\u00a0<\/p>\n DailyMail.com sent a list of detailed questions to Fort Liberty, including whether they have opened a probe into the men’s time there, but was directed to the Pentagon.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Pentagon also did not answer DailyMail.com’s specific questions about the two men’s time at Fort Liberty.
