A mother accused of plying her teenage son’s underage friend with shots of alcohol<\/a>\u00a0before sexually assaulting him was arrested\u00a0in\u00a0<\/span>Las Vegas<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>after nearly a year on the run.<\/span><\/p>\n

Christina Cobb, 42, was discovered by police on November 28 after using a California<\/a> ID and social security number for an individual named Olga.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She had four outstanding warrants for her arrest in connection with two separate cases after she didn’t show up for her court appearance in January.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cobb now faces an additional charge for obtaining or using personal identification of another person to avoid or delay being prosecuted for an unlawful act.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She was accused of providing alcohol and marijuana to her son and his friends at a birthday party at her house in May 2022.<\/p>\n

A month later, she was charged with two counts of statutory sexual seduction and one count of lewdness with a child under the age of 16.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The alleged victim said that he had been provided alcohol and was ‘allowed’ to ‘sleep in her bed,’ according to Las Vegas Police, as reported by 8 News Now<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The teen told police he suspected he had eight shots and ‘felt drunk’ before Cobb sexually assaulted him. The age of consent in Nevada<\/a> is 16 years old.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It’s alleged that Cobb told the teen victim to leave her bed before her husband came home, according to police reports.<\/p>\n

‘She’s considered a danger to the community based on the charges – the inappropriate relations, sexual relations, with a child,’ said Supervisory Deputy US Marshal Ray Venegas.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Her bail was set at $20,000 which she posted in February of 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cobb was charged with two felony charges of assault with the use of a deadly weapon and child abuse or neglect.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A Las Vegas judge ordered Cobb be released from jail on September 5 after no criminal complaint was filed for her case, and she was released on September 16.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Venegas said he believed she has no contact with her teenage son and no family connections outside of Las Vegas.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A preliminary hearing for the new charge is scheduled for December 17 and another preliminary hearing for the second case is scheduled for December 16.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
