Bill Belichick<\/a> has not even been North Carolina<\/a>‘s head football coach for a month and he’s already trying to be pulled back to the NFL, including by Tom Brady<\/a>‘s Las Vegas<\/a> Raiders.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Las Vegas fired Antonio Pierce on Tuesday from its helm after a 4-13 season, with reports stating Brady has already talked to Belichick in recent weeks.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Belichick’s buyout with the Tar Heels is set at $10million, with it dropping dramatically to $1million in June.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Either way, that amount would be a fraction of what NFL teams are will to pay to acquire the legendary head coach, per NFL Network.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Belichick does not have any plans to return to the NFL, per The Athletic.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Belichick made the shock move to the college ranks for the first time last month and has already ben recruiting to build his first Tar Heels’ roster from the transfer portal and high school ranks.<\/p>\n

Tom Brady will have a say in who the next Raiders head coach will be as a minority owner<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Brady is a minority owner of the Raiders, with controlling owner Mark Davis set to name the legendary quarterback to his committee to find the team’s next leader.<\/p>\n

It is not revealed who the other team that has inquired about Belichick’s willingness to make the switch.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Six NFL teams currently have head-coaching vacancies in the Raiders, Jaguars, Saints, Bears, Patriots, and Jets.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Cowboys could soon have an opening as well as Mike McCarthy’s contract expires next week and other teams have sought to interview him to take the helm.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Belichick was the Patriots head coach for 24 years and was fired last January, with Jerod Mayo being named as his successor. Mayo was canned on Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Brady and Belichick spent two decades together in New England, winning six Super Bowls.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Belichick did not land another NFL job in last year’s coaching carousel and was thought to be a major player in this year’s extravaganza until making the move to Chapel Hill.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Joining UNC has apparently not stopped teams from trying to lure Belichick back to the NFL before he coaches his first college game.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
