A triple-barrel bluff paid off for Alan Keating on the 14th season of PokerGO’s High Stakes Poker recently. Some six-figure pressure helped score a pot of more than $287,000.
The action began with a family pot. A total of seven players saw a flop of K9

The small blind called with J9

from the big blind. Wang called the raise and the other players got out of the way, ballooning the pot to $52,200.
According to the Card Player Poker Odds Calculator, Wang was a big favorite with a 94% chance to win the pot.
Although Keating was only 6% to win, the turn brought the 10, giving him a flush draw and improving his equity to 20%. He fired $55,000 into the pot and Wang thought a bit before tossing his chips in for the call.
The river was the J, putting three diamonds on the board and a one-liner to a straight. However, Keating missed flush draw and was left with eight-high.
Undeterred, he emptied the clip and bet $125,000. The pot was worth $287,200 and Wang faced a tough call with just top pair.
“This would be a hero call of herculean proportions,” said PokerGO commentator and five-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Nick Schulman as Wang mulled over his decision.
Wang continued stacking his chips and looked pained as he considered whether to commit six figures to after his opponent had already fired three times. He ultimately threw his hand into the muck and Keating showed his cards for the table to see.

Keating is no stranger playing on streamed cash games and has appeared in shows like Hustler Casino Live, No Gamble No Future, and Poker After Dark. The 38-year-old investor and poker player has chalked up losses of more than $2 million in those appearances, according to HighRollPoker.com.
This pot put a small dent in that figure. He was also involved in a major hand in an earlier episode, winning a pot worth $149,000 against Marc Kulick. Keating is known for his wild playing style, playing more hands than anybody else at the table.
Wang has played plenty of streamed games himself, and is a big winner on Hustler Casino Live up more than $2.5 million.
