LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A man has died following a shooting incident in North Las Vegas, authorities said.
On Monday, Jan. 6, at approximately 3:47 p.m., officers from the North Las Vegas Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment near Webb Avenue and Stocker Street.
Upon arrival, officers found an unresponsive adult male with a critical gunshot wound.
The suspect had fled the scene before police arrived, officials said.
Medical personnel provided aid to the victim, who was then transported to UMC Trauma in critical condition.
Despite efforts to save him, the victim succumbed to his injuries on Jan. 8, according to police.
The North Las Vegas Police Department’s detectives are leading the investigation.
