LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Sixty employers will participate in a large job fair this week to fill more than 10,000 open positions around the Las Vegas area.
The organizer West Coast Job Fairs says the hiring event will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Boulevard Mall.
Employers will include companies from the casino and hospitality sectors, restaurants, retail, sales, healthcare, customer service, warehouse, delivery and more.
Those companies include MGM Resorts, Caesars Entertainment, Station Casinos, Clark County, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police and Harry Reid International Airport.
“Events like the Las Vegas Job Fair, connect Nevada’s talented workers with employers looking to hire,” local events manager Richard Berry said in a statement. “It’s a critical part of efforts to strengthen the local economy and improving quality of life for locals.”
Career and trade schools will also be on-site to help anyone interested in career training.
The event is free to attend.
