LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Las Vegas Aces organized a donation drive on Sunday, January 12, from noon to 5 p.m. at Aces Headquarters.
All collected donations will be transported to Los Angeles, where the Aces will collaborate with the Los Angeles Sparks to distribute them to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
Megan Gustafson plays for the Aces and says, “We have a donation set up for people affected by the fires in California. The Aces spread the word on social media. We’ve had a lot of people bring in different food items, baby items, and items for pets, and really anything you can think of.
Gustafson says the Aces appreciate the support from the community and were excited that the team came together as an organization to help.
She says so many people have been affected by the fires and they are gonna do anything to help and the Los Angeles Sparks are a part of the L.A. community.
Here’s a list of items to donate:
- Bottled water
- Non-perishable food/snacks
- Toiletries
- Diapers
- Baby formula
- Hand sanitizer
- Pet food
- N95 Masks
- New blankets
- Air purifiers
- First aid kits
The Aces Headquarters is located at 1415 Raiders Way in Henderson.
