Drake Gambles With Online Slots Alone In Club Turned Casino

Canadian rapper Drake recently made a night club his own personal casino. A video showing the 38-year-old gambling online went viral this week.

The video, seen over 16 million times, shows Drake sitting on a couch in an empty club while wearing white mink coat while playing on a laptop. His mobile slot play was projected onto screens located around the club as Sabrina Carpenter’s hit Espresso was blasted from the venue’s speakers. The video ends with confetti falling from the ceiling.

Some have suspected that the stunt is part of an advertisement for the gambling company Stake, with whom Drake has a lucrative endorsement deal.

However, others believe his well-documented interest in gambling may have gone too far. That includes fans and some in the hip hop industry.

“It’s actually sad,” one Twitter user posted in response to the video. “Dude has everything he can ask for and is literally alone in a club. No friends, just his money and promoting Stake. That’s not different. It’s actually depressing and I feel for the dude.”

The rapper, who has been publicly feuding with fellow musician Kendrick Lamar, has regularly posted some major bets online over the last few years. In 2024, he lost a $300,000 bet on the Canadian soccer team to win the Copa America series at odds of +2500. Had the squad found the championship, he stood to earn $2.9 million.

In 2022, he bet $1 million on Argentina to win the World Cup, but lost when the match went to overtime. Some of his other bets have fared better. He won $559,000 on the 2022 Super Bowl betting on the Rams. A $159,000 bet on the Golden State Warriors to finish atop the NBA’s Western Conference also brought a nice return of $650,000.
