CES 2025 Day 2 has begun, with more reveals and show floor highlights
We’re now a few days into our CES coverage, and while the major press events have come to a close, there’s still plenty left being showcased on the show floor and beyond the Las Vegas convention centers.
Today brings the expansion of SteamOS to devices in addition Valve’s successful Steam Deck, with Lenovo revealing the portable Legion Go S, which can be purchased with SteamOS for $499 or with Windows 11 for $599. Get the full rundown on other configurations and details on the Legion Go S here.
Speaking of portability, Based Hardware’s Omni AI wearable follows last year’s wave of AI hardware hype. The circular device can be worn as a necklace, but its founder is particularly bullish about its potential as an assistant attached to the side of your head utilizing a “brain interface” to take your commands. Our demo with Omni left plenty of questions about the device, however.
And for those with more adventurous dogs, SATELLAI has debuted a new pet tracker and smart collar, which uses direct satellite tracking to eliminate the need for cell towers for continuous tracking. The collar also includes health and activity tracking to inform an AI coach to advise on ways to better your dog’s health.
